I’m a dork about technology and websites but humor me for a second … Well 5 seconds.
One of the blogs I subscribe to showed me this awesome site called fivesecondtest.com that allows you to test out websites for web designers. Usually this seems like a long drawn out process but the kicker is that every test lasts only 5 seconds!
I guess someone must have realized that we get bored very easily and made the length of the test reflect such.
I have been playing around with this site for a few days and it’s actually kind of fun. It asks you to look at a site and see what the first thing is you’d click on. It also asks you to look at a site for 5 seconds and tell what you remember from the site. All of these things really help web designers out as far as usability goes and hey it’s a fun “game” to kill a little time.
Check it out!!

Sounds like fun
Ok Ok. I might be a little overly excited but this is AWESOME. You know how websites usually want people to sign up … nope not this one. It’s special, VIP, invitation only, sweeeeet!
I read this article a few days ago that says you should build suspense when writing your articles. Not only should the information be amazing but it should have a little lingering to it. Don’t put out right away so to speak – add a little mystery to the courtship.
Well that’s enough mystery for me. The site is called dribble.com – not 2 b’s but 3 (how cool is that!) – dribble dot com is a virtual play ground for designers. Only the cream of the crop get invited to wander around in it’s greatness.
I’ve only just found this site and I already want to be a part of it. Now to get my design chops in order so I can get that invite!

Build some forms ... go ahead you know you wanna
HTML Forms are the bane of my existence. They aren’t fun to style and for the novice web developer will prove quite the challenge. The folks over at Wufoo realized this and create a pretty cool Online HTML Form Builder for just such an occasion. Check it out. Relieve your headache one form at a time.
Short posts need love too!

Motion?
I dunno i’m feeling sort of abstract today. I am considering making a move both in physical location and career wise so a dirivative of moving is motion …. which is a photography topic. It all makes sense – at least in my head.
After a quick trip to flickr you can see that there are a lot of different pictures showing motion and lack there of. Very interesting. Where areĀ you going these days?
Sit back – reflect – and enjoy!
